The getting-started checklist sits at the top of the Your week page, which is the first thing you see when you open Willowfolio. It stays visible until every step is either completed or dismissed. You do not need to hunt for it in a menu or settings screen.
The steps include things like adding a child, logging your first activity, adding your first book, and choosing a theme. Each one has a helpful link so you can jump straight to the right place.
Can I skip a step and come back to it?
Every step on the checklist has a "skip" or "do this later" option. Tapping it removes that step from the active list but does not delete it. You can come back to any skipped step at any time.
None of the steps is mandatory. If you only want to add a child today and leave the rest for next week, that is completely fine. The checklist is a guide, not a gatekeeper.
How does this look for a real homeschool family?
Gemma, in Sheffield, signed up on a Wednesday evening after the kids were in bed. She added her daughter's details and picked a theme, then her youngest woke up and that was the end of that.
